SHOWA

Since the content of combined sulfur is approx. 30 phr., much more than soft natural
rubber, it has less in elasticity of rubber. Its hardness is in the range of 68 to 90 with
Shore D durometer, however, because of high sulfur content it is difficult to have a
designated hardness exactly but a special case.

Showa Hard is appropriate and widely used for the following conditions.

1. High corrosion resistance is required
2. Machine work is needed
3. Relatively little shock or abrasion is expected
4. Service temperature is below 90°C
